3: The Definition of
Prejudice Keeping
in mind the (indirect) explanation Lee gives of prejudice in Chapter 23 of
To Kill A Mockingbird, and also
the narratives by Equino, Douglass, Jacobs, Crevecoeur, and Jefferson;
write your own definition paper on prejudice.
Look up the word in the Oxford
English Dictionary to find all of its historical meanings, then use
examples of the various types and causes of prejudice in our world, both
past and present. Cite at least three of the above sources to support your
definition. Maximum 3
